 Food Dinner & Garage Sale Fund Raiser For Baby Joeshua Baby Joeshua born March 1, 2008 was born with a very rare and complex Heart defect that only about 5,000-10,000 people in the U.S. have (rough estimates based on birth rates). It’s called Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries (the lower half of the heart is backwards) and a Ventricular septal Defeat (a hole in the lower half of heart). Treatment for this is a rare and complex surgical procedure called a “Double Switch” or have just a Ventricular septal closure (close just the hole).The “double Switch” is still considered an experimental, complex and considerable risky surgery. There is only a hand full of doctors in the U.S that perform this procedure; therefore we have to travel to different states to find the best doctor and hospital. Joeshua has to have out of state surgery the end of May or beginning of June 2008 because of early complications. The family is in need of any monetary and prayer gift that will help them finance these trips and offset any medical cost and out of pocket expenses that occur.
